چکیده
Abstract This paper presents a novel method for rapidly addressing the earthquake-induced damage identification task in historic masonry towers. The proposed method, termed DORI, combines operational modal analysis (OMA), FE modeling, rapid surrogate modeling (SM) and non-linear Incremental dynamic (IDA). While OMA-based Structural Health Monitoring methods using statistical pattern recognition are known to allow detection of small structural damages due earthquakes, even far-field ones moderate intensity, combination SM IDA-based localization quantification is here proposed. monumental bell tower Basilica San Pietro located Perugia, Italy, considered validation method. being continuously monitored since 2014, experienced main shocks 2016 Central Italy seismic sequence on-site vibration-based monitoring system detected changes global behavior after earthquakes. In paper, experimental vibration data (continuous records), models structure used post-earthquake exploiting an ideal subdivision into meaningful macroelements. Results linear numerical (SM IDA, respectively) successfully combined this aim continuous exchange information between physical reality (monitoring data) virtual (FE models) effectively enforces Digital Twin paradigm. identified by both data-driven model-based strategies finally confirmed in-situ visual inspections.

A New Two-Stage Method for Damage Identification in Linear-Shaped Structures Via Grey System Theory and Optimization Algorithm
The main objective of this paper is concentrated on presenting a new two-stage method for damage localization and quantification in the linear-shaped structures. A linear-shaped structure is defined as a structure in which all elements are arranged only on a straight line. At the first stage, by employing Grey System Theory (GST) and diagonal members of the Generalized Flexibility Matrix (GFM),...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
Study on Earthquake Damage Distribution of Multistory Masonry Buildings
The main components which affect the earthquake damage grades classification of multistory masonry buildings and the damage characters are summarized and analyzed through the statistics and analysis of a large number of previous earthquake damage data. According to the standard of earthquake damage grades classification, the damage numbers of each component of multistory masonry buildings under...
متن کاملSeismic Mitigation of a Historic Masonry Building
This work presents an analysis of different proposals of rehabilitation of a masonry building, built around the beginning of the XX century for public schools, in the highest seismic risk zone of Argentine; and which was closed down after Mendoza`s Earthquake in 1985. The building has masonry walls of artisanal ceramic bricks and wood-framed roof but it does not have lateral ties. Currently, it...
متن کاملA NEW DAMAGE INDEX FOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE IDENTIFICATION BY MEANS OF WAVELET RESIDUAL FORCE
In this paper a new method is presented for structural damage identification. First, the damaged structure is excited by short duration impact acceleration and then, the recorded structural displacement time history responses under free vibration conditions are analyzed by Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and Wavelet Residual Force (WRF) is calculated. Finally, an effective d...
